POLYOL

A polyol is an alcohol containing multiple hydroxyl groups. In two technological disciplines the term "polyol" has a special meaning: food science and polymer chemistry.

Refrigerated Container-A Perfect Cooling Solution

polyol

The transport of sensitive goods - whether foodstuffs or other temperature-critical products - over long distances makes the very highest demands on the properties of the containers. For safe transportation without damaging the goods, excellent insulating properties and hygiene are just as important as low weight, high loading capacity and easy unloading.

In international sea traffic, heat-sensitive goods are transported exclusively in refrigerated containers which, almost without exception, are insulated with rigid polyurethane foam. Such foam has outstanding properties for these applications.

Global polyurethanes LLP'S geopol combines high mechanical strength with high insulating capacity and economical production.

Geopol In Walk-in Coolers

polyol

Walk-in coolers containing polyurethane rigid foam are highly suitable for cooling a wide variety of products, both in the food industry and in other industries. polyurethane rigid foam made from Geopol Series polyol provides excellent heat insulation owing to its very high lambda values. walk in coolers are insulated with 30 to 80-mm thick polyurethane rigid foam. Excellent insulation is guaranteed by preventing thermal bridges. Walk-in coolers based on polyurethane also have a long service life and are extremely sturdy and pressure-resistant.

Rigid PU Foams from Goepol

polyol

Polyurethane rigid foam slabs & pipe section are used wherever energy losses have to be prevented, consequently, the main spheres of application are in the low- and high-temperature insulation like pipe line insulation and lightweight construction sectors.

Rigid polyurethane foam is even used in horticulture, in furniture and sports goods, in solar technology and for roof consolidation in mining and civil engineering.

Rigid polyurethane foam is a highly cross linked, low-density, cellular thermoset plastic composed of closed cells. The low thermal conductivity of the blowing agent contained in the cells is responsible for the material's excellent insulating properties. During foam production, the reaction system enters a tacky phase prior to curing that enables it to form a strong, permanent bond with a ny facings.

Rigid polyurethane foam is a high-performance material for insulation and construction.

Global Polyurethanes Rigid polyurethane foam is CFC Free cost –effective insulating material. Cost effectiveness very much depends on its heat insulating capacity. PUF has no rival as regards insulating effectiveness. Its special features are even density and closed cell structure. PUF is used wherever energy has to be saved. It is excellent insulating material in comparison with glass wool, expanded polystyrene, mineral wool, rock woo, thermocol, cork, wood, etc.

Quality Insulting Material

For that same reason, Architects & Contractors are looking for more intensively than ever before for an insulating material which provides a solution to all types of insulation problem, which is structurally sound & economical in the long term. No other insulating material offers the features under extreme conditions.

Main advantages of PUF

  • It provides excellent thermal insulation.
  • It has very good ageing resistance.
  • It can be supplied in various thick nesses.
  • No sign of rotting, decay & shrinkage.
  • No water absorption.
  • Compressive strength and tensile strength can be adjusted in accordance with the density.
  • It bonds effectively with local adhesive or bitumen.

Geopol in Sandwich Panel

polyol

Cold store panel simple but good stability, economy, freedom from maintenance and thermal insulation.

Global polyurethanes LLP' products are flame-retardant, partly or fully formulated polyol mixtures that are combined with the raw materials and additives needed for the foam to expand. Cold-store panels made with geopol provide optimum heat insulation and ensure that the joints do not create heat bridges. These elements comply fully with the stringent requirements. Other advantages include the low weight and ease of assembly.

Properties at a glance:
  • Reduced cold losses even at lower thickness.
  • Diffusion-proof.
  • Consistent quality through economical, industrial production.
  • Maintenance - free, hygienic, easy - to - clean surface.

Spray On Roof - Future Technology

polyol

Geopol spray-on roof is used primarily for insulating roofs in industrial building construction. The adaptability of the spray foam formulation, combines with the range of densities suitable for different applications, provides versatility for on site applications. the systems consist of two components which are processed on site in a specific ratio using mobile high-pressure spraying machines. The polyurethane in-situ foam system adapts itself to the respective designs and substrates and forms a seamless insulating layer without thermal bridges.

Ones in new constructions such as commercial offices, industrial factories and warehouses, agricultural pig and chicken farm, residential apartment being used in the roofs, walls floors. The technique is also utilised for the insulation of new and existing pipes, storage tanks and cold storage units.

Geopol Replaces Wood

polyol

In most Architectural Antiques & world class furniture where PU, the components having the lowest thermal insulation with high density. That is why PU rigid foam is excellently suited as an insulating material for window frames. This is a low-maintenance material which is extremely resistant to weathering and can be manufactured in almost any shape.

Advantages at a glance:
  • Highly insulated core made of PU rigid foam.
  • High strength.
  • Insusceptible to environmental influences.
